Matt Byrne, a passionate baritone from Sparks, MD, studied with Kathy for two years at Noteworthy. In that time, he recorded his first CD, and shortly after was offered a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. Matt has commonly referred to Noteworthy as "somewhere he can comfortably sing off-key, and not be embarrassed". Matt has recently moved to New York and is working toward a highly anticipated Broadway debut.
